Estate Agent Trainee Sales Negotiator – Entry Level

About the role

This full‑time position is designed for ambitious individuals who want to start a career in property sales. Whether you are already an estate agent or a high‑performing sales professional from another sector, you will be trained to become a successful Sales Negotiator, generating leads, arranging viewings and closing property transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect new business primarily via telephone and build a personal sales pipeline.
• Arrange and attend property viewings, conduct Property Market Appraisals (PMAs) and follow up with potential buyers.
• Negotiate and close residential property sales, matching buyers with suitable sellers.
• Maintain detailed records of contacts, viewings and sales activity in the company CRM.
• Develop relationships with ‘virtual’ sellers – owners not actively on the market but open to proposals.

Required profile

• Strong sales background (e.g., car, mobile phone or membership sales) with a proven ability to meet targets.
• Own a reliable car and hold a valid driving licence.
• Excellent telephone communication skills and a proactive, self‑motivated attitude.
• Willingness to learn the property market and acquire in‑depth knowledge of local listings.

What we offer

• Guaranteed salary of £28,000‑£30,000 (pro‑rated) for the first six months while you build your pipeline.
• After the initial period, a basic salary of £16,000 plus a commission structure (5% personal sales commission + 2.5% for booked PMAs) with realistic OTE of £30,000‑£35,000 in year 1.
