About the role

We are seeking an experienced Estate Agent Valuer to join a well‑established agency in Barnard Castle, serving the County Durham market. The role combines residential sales with professional property valuations, offering the chance to work across a varied portfolio and deliver a high standard of client service.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct accurate residential market appraisals and evidence‑based valuations using comparable data.
• Carry out property viewings, advise vendors and convert valuations into sales instructions.
• Prepare high‑quality sales particulars, marketing reports and promotional materials.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Provide exceptional customer service and collaborate effectively with colleagues.

Required profile

• Proven experience in residential property valuations and market appraisals.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship‑building abilities.
• Track record of meeting sales and valuation targets.
• Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Enthusiastic, proactive attitude towards the property sector.
