Estate Assistant – Property & Grounds Maintenance (Part‑time)

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Estate Assistant to support the upkeep of a private household in Betley, Cheshire. The role is part‑time (2‑3 days a week) and involves a mix of outdoor and indoor tasks to keep the property and its grounds in excellent condition.

Key responsibilities

• Clean interior and exterior windows to a high standard.
• Wash and valet household vehicles.
• Perform general outdoor maintenance, including litter collection and basic gardening.
• Assist with light property maintenance and odd jobs around the house.
• Maintain tidy and presentable grounds and surrounding areas.
• Support other day‑to‑day tasks as required.

Required profile

• Reliable, trustworthy and punctual.
• Physically fit and enjoys working outdoors.
• Positive, can‑do attitude and able to work independently.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.
• Previous experience in window cleaning, vehicle valeting, grounds or property maintenance is advantageous, though training will be provided for the right candidate.
