Estate Manager

About the role

Our client is seeking an experienced Estate Manager to oversee the day‑to‑day operations of a high‑end residential estate in East London. You will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of presentation, safety and resident satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full operational delivery of the estate, ensuring presentation, safety and service standards are consistently met.
• Serve as the primary contact for residents, handling queries, feedback and complaints professionally and discreetly.
• Administer service charge budgets, monitor expenditure and drive cost‑efficiency without compromising quality.
• Coordinate contractors and service providers, ensuring works meet agreed standards and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, risk assessments and statutory obligations.
• Conduct regular inspections of communal areas and facilities to uphold exceptional standards.
• Support resident engagement initiatives and foster a strong sense of community.
• Collaborate with developers, managing agents and other stakeholders to protect the development’s reputation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in residential estate management.
• Strong leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Solid understanding of service‑charge budgeting and financial management.
• Thorough knowledge of UK health & safety and property‑management regulations.
• Highly organised with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
• Proactive, solution‑focused approach with strong problem‑solving capabilities.
