Estimator – Bespoke Joinery & Fit-Out

About the role

We are seeking an Estimator to lead the preparation of quotes for bespoke joinery and fit‑out projects across the commercial sector. You will work on a variety of projects ranging from £50k to £3m, ensuring accurate and timely cost proposals.

Key responsibilities

• Review tender enquiries to define scope, deadlines and project requirements.
• Interpret drawings and specifications to produce Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
• Prepare formal quotations and maintain thorough documentation in the internal database.
• Establish and nurture relationships with contractors, suppliers and clients.
• Manage quotations for projects valued between £50,000 and £3,000,000.

Required profile

• Proven estimating experience in machinery, manufacturing, joinery or fit‑out sectors.
• Strong technical knowledge of industry processes, materials and cost structures.
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment, both independently and as part of a team.
