Estimator – Building Envelope

About the role

The Estimator – Building Envelope will produce accurate cost estimates for a variety of industrial roofing and cladding solutions. You will work closely with main contractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and timely tender submissions.

Key responsibilities

• Review tender documents and prepare high‑quality tender returns.
• Use specialist estimating software to calculate material and labour costs.
• Negotiate prices with the supply chain and gather quotations for projects.
• Liaise with main contractors throughout the project lifecycle and maintain strong relationships.
• Keep the internal CRM system up‑to‑date with all project information.
• Prioritise workload to meet deadlines and ensure accurate delivery.

Required profile

• Proven estimating experience within construction, preferably on large projects.
• Strong IT literacy and ability to work with specialised software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Analytical, numerical and commercial awareness.
• Proactive, motivated and able to work independently.
