Estimator – Cladding & Facades

About the role

We are seeking an Estimator with specialist experience in facades, rainscreen cladding and building envelopes to join a growing contractor in Birmingham. You will play a key role in producing accurate, competitive tenders and supporting commercial teams throughout the construction phase.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct pre‑tender and pre‑contract façade surveys to assess condition, substrate, fixings and refurbishment needs.
• Liaise with manufacturers, suppliers, subcontractors, clients, architects and structural engineers.
• Prepare Bills of Quantities, cost breakdowns, valuations, variations and final accounts.
• Analyse drawings and specifications, conduct site surveys and assess project risks.

Required profile

• Estimator or similar background with experience in rainscreen cladding, facades or specialist envelopes.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings, specifications and survey reports.
• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Experience with post‑Grenfell fire safety remediation projects and EWS1 assessments (preferred).
• Full UK driving licence.
