Estimator – Facades & Cladding (London)

About the role

We are seeking an Estimator (or Senior Estimator) to join the Facades & Cladding division of a principal contractor. The role sits within the Pre‑Construction team, reporting to the Pre‑Construction Manager and working closely with commercial, operations and design leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver accurate cost estimates from tender enquiry through to settlement for residential high‑rise façade and cladding remedial works.
• Maintain the sales pipeline and keep CRM data up‑to‑date.
• Support commercial and operational teams with mobilisation plans, project briefs and work‑in‑progress updates.
• Collaborate with Head of Commercial, Operations Managers and Design Managers to align estimates with project requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in the construction industry, preferably within façade or cladding projects.
• Demonstrated experience in façade remediation and main‑contracting environments is highly desirable.
• Confident in client and subcontractor interactions and able to interpret detailed construction drawings.
• Strong commercial awareness and numeracy, with the ability to produce Bills of Quantities quickly and accurately.

What we offer

• Competitive salary ranging from £70,000 to £95,000 per year, dependent on experience.
• Flexible hybrid working – initially 4 days onsite, 1 day remote, moving to a 3/2 split after probation.
