EU Customs and Transport Co‑ordinator

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time EU Customs and Transport Co‑ordinator to join our team at the East Hanningfield office. The role involves managing EU customs processes, coordinating shipments and ensuring regulatory compliance while providing high‑quality customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Perform import and export customs clearances for EU shipments.
• Coordinate and monitor shipments to and from the EU.
• Liaise with clients and customs authorities.
• Create and maintain shipping files and input data.
• Prepare and process invoices.
• Promote the service to new clients.
• Maintain accurate records and shipping documentation.
• Ensure compliance with EU customs regulations and meet tight deadlines.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of customs experience, preferably with knowledge of IPAFFS and PEACH.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational and communication abilities.
• Self‑motivated, proactive and able to stay calm under pressure.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
• Understanding of duty/VAT preferences and payment methods.
• Confident use of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work on‑site in a high‑pressure, deadline‑driven environment.
• Availability to work Monday‑Friday, 09:00‑17:00.
