About the role
Join the team delivering a safe and enjoyable experience for visitors to the Qatar Horseracing event at Goodwood Racecourse. This part‑time, temporary position runs from 28 July to 1 August 2026, with flexible day‑by‑day scheduling.
Key responsibilities
- Provide advice and assistance to the public throughout the event.
- Prevent visitors from entering restricted areas such as the racecourse track.
- Maintain a visible presence to ensure safety and order.
- Report any incidents or safety concerns to senior staff.
Required profile
- Reliability and punctuality for day‑time shifts.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills with the public.

What we offer
- £12.71 per hour, paid hourly.
- Day‑time shifts across four consecutive days.
- Option to work a single day, several days, or the full event.
- Experience in a high‑profile public event environment.
