Events Assistant – Seasonal Part‑Time (London)

About the role

The Royal Air Force Museum is seeking three enthusiastic Events Assistants to join its London team on a seasonal, part‑time basis. You will support the Public Events Team in delivering a diverse programme of visitor‑focused activities, from workshops and festivals to commercial events.

Key responsibilities

• Provide proactive and reactive customer care during events.
• Assist with the set‑up and pack‑down of event activities and displays.
• Enhance visitor experience by supporting workshops, model‑building clubs, and large‑scale events.
• Handle on‑the‑day sales transactions for event merchandise.
• Supervise and support Event Maker volunteers.
• Safeguard visitor, staff, and museum assets in line with security policies.

Required profile

• Experience in a public‑facing, customer‑service environment.
• Proven ability to work effectively within a team and share information.
• Energetic, able to work at pace and meet deadlines.
