Events Manager

About the role

Our client is looking for an experienced Events Manager to lead a portfolio of outdoor events from concept through to on‑site delivery. You will work within a small, dynamic team, balancing project management, client relationships and live event operations. The role is ideal for someone passionate about the outdoors and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of outdoor events from initial concept to successful delivery.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers and stakeholders.
• Coordinate all event planning aspects, including logistics, accommodation, transport and operational delivery.
• Produce and manage event budgets, forecasts and project timelines.
• Ensure events are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest standards.
• Deliver events on‑site, working alongside the wider operations team.
• Maintain accurate project documentation with exceptional attention to detail.
• Support the wider business with operational tasks as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing outdoor, experiential or challenge events.
• Excellent project management and organisational skills.
• Strong client‑facing experience with the ability to build lasting relationships.
• Experience managing budgets and financial forecasting.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines simultaneously.
• Genuine enthusiasm for outdoor activities and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
