Events & Networking Coordinator – Marketing

About the role

Our client, a fast‑moving city‑based media company, is seeking an Events & Networking Coordinator for their Marketing team. The role blends data management, email marketing and event coordination, requiring strong organisational abilities and confidence working with Excel.

Key responsibilities

• Source, create, manipulate and utilise data to support marketing campaigns and events, using Excel for filtering, sorting and maintaining datasets.
• Create and schedule marketing emails and develop copy that targets audiences effectively.
• Analyse campaign results to identify trends, measure performance and recommend improvements.
• Book venues, coordinate catering, manage delegate requirements for roundtables, lunches and dinners.
• Provide delegate support for conferences, order supplies and manage logistical requirements.
• Coordinate AV requirements, book in‑house photographers and set up event websites.
• Maintain accurate, clean and up‑to‑date records.

Required profile

• Highly organised, detail‑focused and comfortable handling large amounts of data.
• Excellent communicator, both written and verbal, able to manage multiple priorities in a deadline‑driven environment.
• Proactive, able to work independently and collaborate with delegates, suppliers, venues and internal stakeholders.

Required skills

• Strong Excel skills – filtering, sorting, organising and extracting data from large or complex datasets.
• Experience with MS Dynamics (advantageous).
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
