Events Operations Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Events Operations Manager to join a global conference and exhibition team. Based in London with a hybrid working pattern, you will lead the delivery of high‑profile international events across Europe, the Middle East, America and Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end operational delivery of multiple events worldwide, from concept through to post‑event evaluation.
• Oversee event budgets, planning and forecasting to meet financial targets.
• Collaborate with senior leadership on operational strategy and develop detailed event timelines.
• Source and negotiate with suppliers, venues and contractors, ensuring strong relationships.
• Coordinate production, marketing, sales and finance elements to ensure seamless execution.
• Produce technical documentation for exhibitors, including manuals, zone plans and signage.
• Design floor plans, event signage and show guides, and manage health & safety compliance.
• Travel internationally as required and work flexible hours leading up to events.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering international conferences and exhibitions.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under pressure.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on continuous process improvement.
• Self‑motivated, proactive and comfortable embracing new technology.
