Exam Delivery Manager

About the role

As an Exam Delivery Manager at the Institute of Chartered Accountants England & Wales (ICAEW), you will oversee the end‑to‑end delivery of ACA and ICAEW‑supported examinations. You will work in a hybrid model, balancing office collaboration with remote productivity, and help shape a secure, accurate, and timely exam experience for candidates.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of ACA and ICAEW examinations, ensuring secure and timely delivery.
• Coordinate examination schedules, bookings, and operational activities across multiple systems.
• Resolve delivery issues promptly and maintain high‑quality service standards.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and test centres.
• Analyse operational data, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead, allocate work for, and develop the Exam Delivery Administrator team.
• Produce management information and ensure compliance with regulatory, policy, and quality standards.

Required profile

• Experience managing complex operational processes in a regulated or service‑delivery environment.
• Proven leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship‑building abilities.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to juggle competing priorities.
• Analytical mindset with a track record of using data to improve processes.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP).
