About the role
We are looking for a dynamic Examinations Officer to join the busy examinations team at our Ellesmere Port Campus. The role supports learners and staff by ensuring smooth administration of examinations and post‑results services, while maintaining high standards of data integrity and confidentiality.
Key responsibilities
- Provide advice and guidance to ensure the college complies with all awarding‑body requirements.
- Maintain the security of confidential examination materials.
- Liaise with awarding bodies and supervise post‑results services.
- Support the integrity and accuracy of exam registration and achievement data within the Management Information System (MIS).
- Deputise for the Examinations Manager as required.
- Promote the welfare of children and young people in line with safeguarding policies.
Required profile
- GCSE Grade C (4/5) or above in English and Maths (or equivalent).
- Demonstrable experience in developing positive working relationships across an organisation and with external partners.
- Excellent organisational and administrative abilities with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Required skills
- Strong administrative and data‑management skills.
- Ability to work resiliently under pressure and communicate effectively with a wide team.
