Exams & Data Manager – Secondary School (Islington)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Exams & Data Manager to join a high‑achieving mainstream secondary school in Islington. The role starts in September on a long‑term, temporary basis and will be based on‑site.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate all internal and external examinations, ensuring compliance with JCQ regulations and awarding body requirements.
• Manage exam entries, timetabling, invigilation arrangements and results processing.
• Maintain accurate student records and produce data reports for senior leadership and teaching staff.
• Oversee post‑results services and support the school’s data management systems throughout the academic year.

Required profile

• Previous experience in examinations, data or school administration within a secondary school setting.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritise competing deadlines.
• Strong organisational skills and the confidence to work both independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SIMS (School Information Management System).
• Good IT literacy and experience with data reporting tools.
