About the role
Great British Energy is seeking an Executive Assistant to support both the Chair and the CEO. The role sits at the heart of a fast‑moving, publicly owned energy company and provides high‑level administrative and logistical support to enable senior leaders to focus on delivering the UK’s clean‑energy transition.
Key responsibilities
- Manage complex, fast‑moving diaries for the Chair and CEO, aligning priorities and ensuring efficient use of time.
- Run inboxes, triage requests and coordinate timely responses.
- Organise and coordinate a high volume of meetings, including logistics, materials and participant briefings.
- Prepare briefing packs, schedules and supporting information to ensure leaders are fully prepared.
- Track actions arising from meetings and follow up to maintain momentum.
- Plan and deliver end‑to‑end travel arrangements, itineraries, accommodation and on‑the‑day coordination.
- Attend and support in‑person engagements across the UK as required.
- Collaborate with the Business Manager and wider Executive Office to maintain a clear forward‑looking agenda and support the overall rhythm of the organisation.

- Proven experience supporting senior executives in a dynamic environment.
- Exceptional organisational ability and meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong capacity to manage competing priorities and work under pressure.
- Flexible, collaborative mindset and resilience in a fast‑paced setting.
