Executive Assistant to Managing Director

About the role
We are seeking a fast‑paced, high‑impact Executive Assistant to support the Managing Director of a rapidly growing family business. You will keep the MD focused on strategic priorities, manage the diary, drive accountability and ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the MD’s diary and priorities.
- Take minutes at meetings and follow up relentlessly.
- Support recruitment, HR and onboarding processes.
- Coordinate meetings, events and travel arrangements.
- Maintain an organised and efficiently running office.
- Run daily huddles and track actions to completion.
Required profile
- Proven experience in office and business administration.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills.
- Confident communicator who holds people accountable.
- Highly organised, proactive and detail‑driven.
- Comfortable handling confidential matters.
- HR experience is desirable.

What we offer
- Salary range £30,000 – £40,000 per year.
