Executive Driver

About the role

We are looking for an Executive Driver to join AX UK in Glasgow. In this role you will ensure the safe, timely delivery and collection of replacement vehicles for customers involved in non‑fault accidents, representing the company with professionalism and care.

Key responsibilities

• Perform pre‑delivery vehicle inspections, checking condition, mileage and basic maintenance such as oil, fluids and tyres.
• Deliver and collect vehicles according to schedule, completing all required paperwork accurately.
• Demonstrate vehicle features and controls to customers, ensuring they feel confident and informed.
• Travel independently between assignments, using public transport when necessary.
• Report any vehicle condition issues or roadworthiness concerns to the Line Manager.
• Maintain a professional appearance and represent AX with courtesy.
• Log and hand in any lost property found in vehicles.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a similar driving or vehicle delivery role.
• Valid UK driving licence.
• Confidence driving a variety of vehicles, including prestige models.
• General knowledge of vehicle makes, models and controls.
• Basic understanding of car maintenance.
• High attention to detail and commitment to keeping vehicles in pristine condition.
• Safe, responsible and courteous driving style.
• Strong communication skills for explaining features and completing paperwork.
