Expeditor – Manufacturing Materials Logistics

About the role
We are seeking an experienced Expeditor to ensure raw material availability for a growing manufacturing organisation. You will play a pivotal role in mitigating supply risks, supporting a newly implemented ERP system, and driving on‑time delivery across the business.
Key responsibilities
- Expedite raw materials and components from suppliers through to delivery, meeting production requirements.
- Manage system‑generated MRP plans and production schedules to guarantee material availability.
- Monitor stock levels, safety stock, lead times, and material requirements to prevent shortages.
- Identify supply‑chain risks and implement contingency plans to minimise disruption.
- Support the adoption and optimal use of the new ERP/MRP system.
Required profile
- Proven experience expediting raw materials in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems.
- Experience managing supplier relationships and scheduling deliveries.
- Understanding of raw‑material purchasing processes.
