About the role
We are looking for an experienced Bench Joiner to join our family‑run joinery workshop in Bramling, Kent. The successful candidate will produce purpose‑made joinery with a high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail.
Key responsibilities
- Interpret and work from manufacturing drawings and joinery cutting lists.
- Execute all stages of joinery construction efficiently and accurately.
- Operate a variety of woodworking tools and machinery safely.
- Maintain health and safety standards and contribute to a safe workshop environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues, communicate progress, and keep the workshop tidy.
- Ensure all output meets internal quality standards and delivery deadlines.
Required profile
- Proven experience in purpose‑made joinery (minimum NVQ Level 2).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and cutting lists.
- Strong work ethic, capable of working independently and as part of a team.
- Good time‑keeping and commitment to meeting deadlines.
