Experienced CNC Turner – Aerospace Precision Engineering

About the role

Our client, a growing aerospace precision engineering and manufacturing company, is seeking an experienced CNC Turner to join their Camberley‑based team. You will work on state‑of‑the‑art CNC turning centres, producing high‑quality components from a variety of materials.

Key responsibilities

• Set‑up and operate CNC turning centres (Mazak, Fanuc, Mazatrol/Hurco).
• Interpret engineering drawings and process sheets to select appropriate tools, speeds and feeds.
• Perform occasional programme editing and machine‑side adjustments.
• Measure finished parts using micrometers, vernier calipers and other precision instruments.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and adhere to health‑and‑safety procedures.

Required profile

• Proven experience setting and operating 2‑axis CNC turning centres.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Strong knowledge of materials, cutting speeds, feeds and tooling.
• Experience with conversational CNC systems (Mazatrol or Hurco) is advantageous.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
