Experienced CNC Turner – Farnborough

About the role

We are seeking an experienced CNC Turner to join an innovative, expanding manufacturing business in Farnborough, Hampshire. You will be responsible for setting, operating and programming CNC lathes to produce high‑quality machined components while meeting or improving planned production times.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, operate and program CNC lathes for a variety of parts.
• Produce machined components to exact specifications using work instructions and engineering drawings.
• Self‑inspect finished work with precision measurement tools such as verniers, calipers, gauges and micrometers.
• Provide design‑for‑manufacturing input to improve component designs.
• Manage tooling requirements and communicate needs promptly.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a CNC Turner with strong programming capability.
• Comfortable working to fine tolerances on steels, aluminium and plastics.
• Familiar with Fanuc conversational programming and preferably Colchester and Harrison machines.
• Knowledge of recognised quality systems and industry safety standards.
• Self‑starter with excellent attention to detail and ability to work calmly under pressure.

What we offer

• Competitive salary up to £53,000 per year, dependent on experience and qualifications.
