Experienced CNC Turner – Precision Engineering

About the role

We are seeking an experienced CNC Turner to join a growing aerospace precision engineering company in Camberley. The role involves setting up and operating CNC turning centres to produce high‑quality components for the aerospace sector.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, operate and monitor CNC turning centres (Mazak, Fanuc).
• Edit and optimise CNC programmes, including conversational systems such as Mazatrol and Hurco.
• Interpret engineering drawings and select appropriate tools, speeds and feeds.
• Perform measuring and inspection using micrometers, vernier calipers and other gauges.
• Maintain health and safety standards and support overall section efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven experience on 2‑axis CNC turning centres.
• Knowledge of Fanuc control language and basic Mazatrol or other conversational programming.
• Strong setting and proving skills with ability to read technical drawings.
• Understanding of material properties, cutting speeds, feeds and tooling.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet production targets.
