Experienced CNC Turner – Precision Engineering

About the role

We are seeking an experienced CNC Turner to join a long‑standing precision engineering business in New Milton. The role involves setting, programming and operating CNC turning equipment, as well as performing manual turning and milling on high‑precision components.

Key responsibilities

• Set, program and operate CNC turning machines.
• Carry out manual turning and milling operations.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Manufacture precision components to tight tolerances.
• Perform in‑process inspection and quality checks.
• Conduct routine machine maintenance.
• Work safely and adhere to quality and manufacturing standards.
• Support the team in meeting production and delivery targets.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a CNC Turner in a precision engineering environment.
• Proficiency in manual turning and milling.
• Ability to read and work from engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles.
