Experienced CNC Turner – Up to £40k + Overtime

About the role

We are seeking an experienced CNC Turner to join a well‑established engineering business in Romsey. You will work in a modern manufacturing environment producing precision components for aerospace, defence and industrial sectors, with clear pathways for career development.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC turning machines to produce high‑quality parts.
• Program machines using G‑code and adjust parameters on Fanuc, Siemens or Mazatrol controls.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Select appropriate tooling, fixtures and materials for each job.
• Inspect finished components with micrometers, verniers, gauges and other precision measuring equipment.
• Maintain tight tolerances, troubleshoot machining issues and minimise downtime.
• Follow health and safety procedures and keep the work area clean.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a CNC Turner in a production environment.
• Strong understanding of CNC machining processes, tooling and inspection methods.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Self‑motivated, able to work both independently and as part of a team.
