Experienced Conveyancer – Residential Property Transactions

About the role

Our client is expanding their conveyancing team in Portsmouth and seeks an experienced Conveyancer to manage a full residential property caseload from instruction through to completion. You will work within a progressive, busy practice known for its professional service and growing portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Handle freehold and leasehold sales and purchases.
• Process re‑mortgages, transfers of equity and new‑build purchases.
• Manage shared ownership, Right to Buy and Help to Buy transactions.
• Administer equity release, first registration applications and landlord‑tenant matters.
• Deal with probate‑related property transfers and assents.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive (CILEx) or Licensed Conveyancer.
• Proven ability to manage residential conveyancing caseloads with minimal supervision.
• Broad knowledge of residential property law, including leasehold and complex transactions.
• Commercially aware with a proactive, client‑focused approach.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
