Experienced Export Clerk – Airfreight Operations

About the role
We are seeking an experienced Export Clerk to join our client’s airfreight team in Wythenshawe. You will work closely with customers, suppliers and handling agents to deliver a high‑quality wholesale airfreight service.
Key responsibilities
- Answer inbound call enquiries and provide accurate information.
- Prepare and handle quotes for customers.
- Make bookings with airlines and manage import/export documentation.
- Arrange collections and deliveries, coordinating with handling agents and external suppliers.
- Track cargo, perform post‑flight checks and calculate job costing.
- Enter customs information and process Air Waybills (AWBs).
Required profile
- Proven experience as an export clerk or in a similar airfreight role.
- Strong understanding of import/export procedures and customs documentation.
- Excellent communication skills for liaising with customers and suppliers.
- Ability to work accurately under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
