Experienced HGV Class 1 Driver – Container Haulage

About the role

WPRG Ltd is seeking reliable HGV Class 1 drivers to join a well‑established transport company that specialises in container haulage across the UK. The role offers immediate starts, consistent weekly work and a modern fleet, making it ideal for drivers who want steady employment and competitive pay.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and deliver containers nationwide using a Class 1 (C+E) vehicle.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any defects.
• Complete paperwork and Proof of Delivery (POD) documents accurately.
• Adhere to driver hours, tachograph regulations and all transport legislation.
• Maintain a professional attitude while on customer sites.

Required profile

• Valid UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Driver CPC qualification and a digital tachograph card.
• Proven experience in container haulage.
• Strong knowledge of driver hours and transport regulations.
• Right to work in the United Kingdom.
