Experienced Insolvency Administrator

About the role

This position offers an experienced insolvency professional the chance to join a respected independent firm in Edinburgh. You will work within a specialist insolvency team, handling both corporate and personal cases while developing your expertise in a supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with the administration of corporate and personal insolvency cases.
• Support senior team members in case progression and compliance.
• Manage the realisation of assets, including book debts, property and cash holdings.
• Review and address creditor claims and queries.
• Liaise with banks to obtain financial information and documentation.
• Handle employee‑related matters such as correspondence, claims and liaison with relevant bodies.
• Prepare and submit statutory and regulatory returns where required.
• Respond to telephone and written enquiries from stakeholders.
• Provide general administrative support across the insolvency team.

Required profile

• 2–3 years (or more) of experience working within an insolvency team.
• Strong organisational and administrative abilities.
• Capability to manage a personal portfolio of assignments alongside team duties.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
