Experienced Joiner – Temporary Social Housing Projects

About the role
We are seeking an experienced Joiner to join a temporary contract delivering planned and reactive maintenance across social housing properties in Bolton. The role involves a variety of carpentry tasks within both occupied and void homes, ensuring high‑quality workmanship and compliance with health and safety standards.
Key responsibilities
- Fit and repair internal and external doors, including hanging doors and installing door furniture.
- Carry out kitchen fitting and repairs, skirting boards, architraves and boxing‑in.
- Perform window repairs and replacements, as well as flooring and laminate repairs.
- Execute general second‑fix joinery and other maintenance tasks in tenanted and void properties.
- Maintain clean and safe work areas throughout each assignment.
Required profile
- NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds qualification in Carpentry/Joinery (preferred).
- Previous experience in social housing or domestic maintenance.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Own set of tools.
