Experienced Learning Support Assistant (SEND) – Full‑Time

About the role

This position is for an experienced Learning Support Assistant who will work within a forward‑thinking secondary school in South West London. You will support pupils with special educational needs (SEND) and additional learning needs, helping them access the curriculum and thrive academically and socially.

Key responsibilities

• Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support for students with SEND during lessons and throughout the school day.
• Collaborate closely with teachers to adapt learning activities and ensure inclusive access.
• Deliver academic, social and emotional assistance, fostering confidence and independence.
• Promote positive learning behaviours and contribute to a supportive classroom environment.

Required profile

• Previous experience working in a school setting.
• Demonstrated experience supporting children or young people with additional needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Patient, proactive, resilient attitude with a genuine passion for helping young people succeed.
