Experienced Paralegal – Residential Property

About the role

An exciting opportunity has opened within a busy Residential Property team at a well‑established regional law firm. You will work alongside experienced solicitors, supporting a variety of residential conveyancing matters while gradually taking ownership of your own caseload under supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Assist on sales and purchases, transfers of equity, remortgages, licences to assign and deeds of covenant.
• Attend client meetings, draft legal documentation and conduct legal research.
• Progress transactions from instruction through to completion, including Land Registry applications and SDLT submissions.
• Manage lender portal requirements, billing processes and general file administration.

Required profile

• Minimum of one year’s experience in a Residential Property team as a Paralegal, Legal Assistant or Legal Secretary.
• Organised, proactive and able to juggle competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, meticulous attention to detail and a client‑focused attitude.
• Experience of time recording, case management systems and working towards fee targets is advantageous.
