Experienced Plumber – Bathroom & Wetroom First‑Fix

About the role

We are looking for an experienced plumber to join a well‑established bathroom and wetroom installation company in Plymouth. The role is full‑time, Monday to Friday, and focuses on first‑fix plumbing for new builds and refurbishments.

Key responsibilities

• Strip out existing bathroom plumbing and sanitaryware.
• Assess existing services and identify potential issues.
• Install and alter hot and cold‑water services.
• Fit soil pipes, waste lines and associated drainage.
• Carry out heating and towel‑radiator alterations.
• Position services accurately from approved designs and layouts.
• Pressure test and verify installations before walls and floors are closed.
• Record and report any unforeseen or additional works.
• Support second‑fix bathroom installation when required.
• Maintain clean, organised and professional working areas.

Required profile

• Proven plumbing experience, especially in bathrooms and wetrooms.
• Strong first‑fix knowledge and ability to plan service routes accurately.
• Experience with hot and cold services, wastes, soil, heating and sanitaryware.
• Ability to read and work accurately from approved layouts.
• Full UK driving licence and a professional, customer‑focused attitude.
• High standards of workmanship and pride in leaving work ready for the next trade.
• Capability to work independently while contributing positively to a team.
