Experienced Plumber – Full‑time, Croydon

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and dependable plumber to join our expanding team on a busy responsive repairs contract in Croydon. This full‑time, permanent role involves delivering a wide range of plumbing repairs and maintenance tasks in occupied social housing properties.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out responsive plumbing repairs in occupied homes, including fixing leaks, blockages and drainage issues.
• Replace or repair taps, toilets, basins, sanitary ware and pipework, valves and fittings.
• Work on unvented cylinders, hot‑water systems and radiators, diagnosing and resolving faults.
• Remove, repair or replace bath panels to access pipework and ensure a professional finish.
• Record job details, materials used and completion notes using handheld devices or job sheets.
• Maintain tools, equipment and company vehicle, and participate in the out‑of‑hours emergency rota when required.

Required profile

• Proven experience in domestic plumbing repairs and maintenance.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
• Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent customer service skills, especially when working in occupied homes.
• Good understanding of health and safety regulations and safe working practices.

What we offer

• Annual salary up to £38,000.
