About the role
This full‑time position is for an experienced Graduate Teaching Assistant supporting secondary pupils in Enfield. It is ideal for recent graduates who want to gain classroom experience before embarking on teacher training.
Key responsibilities
- Support teaching and learning across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Deliver academic interventions, revision sessions and one‑to‑one or small‑group support.
- Assist teachers with lesson preparation, classroom management and GCSE exam preparation.
- Encourage positive attitudes towards learning and help improve student attainment and confidence.
Required profile
- Degree‑educated with a strong academic background.
- Previous experience working in a secondary school environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ambition to build a long‑term career in education.
