Experienced Tower Crane Operator – 30‑week project

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Tower Crane Operator to join a residential development project in Southampton. The crane will be erected on 17 August and the role offers approximately 30 weeks (around seven months) of work for the right candidate.

Key responsibilities

• Operate a JASO 52 tower crane, primarily from the cab.
• Perform radio‑controlled crane operations during the early stages of the project.
• Lift and move materials safely around the site.
• Carry out daily safety checks and ensure efficient operation.
• Collaborate closely with site management and lifting teams.

Required profile

• Valid CPCS or NPORS Tower Crane Operator qualification.
• Valid Pedestrian/Remote Control Tower Crane qualification.
• Previous experience operating tower cranes on busy construction sites.
• Strong understanding of health and safety procedures.
• Reliable work ethic and ability to commit to a long‑term project.
