Experienced Tree Climber

About the role

Our client, an established tree surgery company operating across Berkshire, is seeking an experienced Tree Climber to join their dedicated team. Based in Maidenhead, you will work on a variety of projects in Windsor, Ascot, Slough and surrounding areas, delivering high‑quality tree care while adhering to strict safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform tree pruning, felling and other arboricultural operations following health‑assessment recommendations.
• Conduct tree health assessments and advise on appropriate care.
• Operate, maintain and safely use climbing and aerial equipment.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure quality service delivery.
• Communicate clearly with clients about job requirements and progress.

Required profile

• Minimum three years’ experience in tree climbing or arboriculture.
• Relevant certifications such as NPTC (or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of tree species and growth characteristics.
• Excellent physical fitness and stamina.
• Good communication skills and a safety‑focused mindset.
