Export Clerk – Air & Ocean Freight Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Export Clerk to join a small, friendly team in Sunbury‑on‑Thames. The role involves managing export shipments from booking through to delivery, primarily using air freight with occasional ocean freight handling. The successful candidate will benefit from a supportive environment and a generous bi‑annual bonus.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and process export documentation for air and ocean shipments.
• Coordinate bookings with carriers and ensure timely dispatch.
• Handle customs entries and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Track shipments and resolve any issues that arise during transit.
• Maintain accurate records of all export activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in freight forwarding or export logistics.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Flexibility to work standard Monday‑Friday hours (9:00‑17:30) with optional weekend overtime.
