Export Clerk

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Air Freight Export Clerk to join a well‑established freight forwarder at Heathrow. You will work within a small, friendly team handling the full export process for air shipments while enjoying hybrid working after training.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare export documentation and complete customs entries.
• Make airline bookings and track shipments from origin to destination.
• Liaise with internal customer‑service teams to provide status updates and meet client KPIs.
• Manage shipment profitability, margins and negotiate with suppliers.
• Develop and maintain relationships with service providers.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of air freight export experience.
• End‑to‑end knowledge of freight forwarding processes and export customs procedures.
• Proven ability to work with internal teams to exceed client expectations.
• Experience in shipment profitability and margin management.

Required skills

• CargoWise (advantageous)
