Export Control Officer

You will support Airbus Defence and Space’s space systems programmes, ensuring compliance with national and international regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for operational advice on export control regulations, sanctions and procedures.
• Develop and implement export control processes and procedures across the organisation.
• Deliver training to cross‑functional stakeholders to raise awareness and ensure compliance.
• Maintain accurate, real‑time export control records and meet internal and external audit requirements.

Required profile

• Expertise in national and international export control and sanctions, with the ability to convey complex regulations to diverse stakeholders.
• Knowledge of US regulations such as ITAR and EAR, and UK military and dual‑use control lists.
• Familiarity with UK government tools like SPIRE and LITE for licence applications and PV gradings.
