Export Coordinator – Freight & Logistics

About the role

Our client, an established freight and logistics provider specialising in multimodal transport, is looking for an Export Coordinator to oversee the complete export process. You will work closely with customers, carriers and overseas agents to ensure shipments are booked, documented and cleared efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Manage export shipments across air‑freight and sea‑freight operations.
• Communicate with customers, hauliers, carriers and overseas agents.
• Arrange bookings with shipping lines and airlines and coordinate collections to meet vessel and flight deadlines.
• Prepare and submit export customs declarations and all required documentation, including manifests and certificates of origin.
• Liaise with warehouses to confirm screening, weighing and loading.
• Issue invoices, send pre‑alerts to overseas agents and follow up post‑delivery to ensure customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in export operations within an SME environment.
• Hands‑on experience with both air‑freight and sea‑freight exports.
• Strong understanding of export documentation and country‑specific requirements.
• Experience completing customs declarations.
• High level of attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Proactive team player with a solution‑focused attitude.
