Export Seafreight Operator

About the role

As an Export Seafreight Operator you will join a busy operations team responsible for managing export sea freight shipments from start to finish. You will ensure customers receive a high level of service and that goods arrive safely and on time.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate export seafreight shipments, handling collections, bookings and documentation.
• Prepare and process Bills of Lading and other required paperwork.
• Liaise with overseas offices, customers and internal supply‑chain partners.
• Provide quotations and invoicing for clients.
• Manage multiple shipments simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines.

Required profile

• Experience in ocean freight operations or export seafreight.
• Excellent telephone manner and written communication skills.
• Highly organised with a systematic, detail‑oriented approach.
• Ability to work Monday‑Friday, 9:00‑17:30.
