Export Supervisor

About the role

Freightserve, a well‑established freight forwarder in Sunbury‑on‑Thames, is seeking an Export Supervisor with experience across air, sea and road freight. The role involves leading a small team to ensure smooth export operations and high‑quality customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise a small team, maintaining departmental mailboxes and responding to enquiries promptly and professionally.
• Ensure all jobs entered in Multifreight SCS and Multished comply with ISO requirements and related flow‑charts.
• Drive timely invoicing by coordinating with other departments and verifying accurate cost processing.
• Monitor stock levels of MAWB/HAWB labels and maintain printer supplies.
• Submit export filings using the CDS programme in a compliant and timely manner.
• Identify and mitigate routing delays, port congestion and supply‑chain bottlenecks to maximise department profitability.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising a small team in a freight or logistics environment.
• Strong communication skills for telephone, Teams and face‑to‑face interactions with overseas agents, shippers and consignees.
• Motivational leadership style capable of getting the best out of the team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Multifreight SCS and Multished software platforms.
• Proficiency with the CDS programme for export submissions.
