Extra Care Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for a warm, compassionate and proactive Extra Care Coordinator to join our team in Limehouse, Tower Hamlets. You will work closely with the Registered Manager to ensure high‑quality, person‑centred support for 40 clients living independently in their own flats.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operational management and quality of the care service.
• Collaborate with Social Services, the Area Manager and other stakeholders to meet care standards.
• Provide dignified personal care and assist with domestic tasks.
• Support individuals in accessing work, education and social opportunities.
• Manage and mentor staff, balancing office management days with direct support shifts.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years’ practitioner or management experience caring for older people or those with dementia/memory loss.
• Flexible, energetic, reliable and able to work empathetically and holistically.
• Person‑centred, respectful approach with a commitment to promoting independence.

Required skills

• No specific technical skills required.
