EYFS Lead Teacher – Reception Class (Permanent)

About the role

The school is seeking an EYFS Lead Teacher to head a Reception class from September 2026. You will be responsible for delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum while leading the EYFS phase within a vibrant, multicultural community.

Key responsibilities

• Teach a Reception class, creating a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment.
• Collaborate closely with the class Teaching Assistant.
• Plan and deliver lessons in line with the EYFS curriculum and year‑group objectives.
• Support pupils across core subjects and tailor instruction for SEN and low‑ability learners.
• Manage challenging behaviour and promote positive student outcomes.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching in a primary school, preferably within the EYFS phase.
• Demonstrated ability to support pupils with additional needs.
• Strong commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
