EYFS Level 3 Teaching Assistant – 1 Year Fixed‑Term

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Level 3 qualified EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a supportive mainstream primary school on the outskirts of Maidstone. This full‑time, one‑year fixed‑term position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on young children during the Early Years Foundation Stage.

Key responsibilities

• Support the class teacher in delivering high‑quality learning activities.
• Assist with planning and preparing engaging, inclusive classroom resources.
• Monitor and promote children’s wellbeing, development and safeguarding.
• Help maintain a safe, stimulating and orderly learning environment.

Required profile

• Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Supporting Teaching and Learning (essential).
• Experience working in an EYFS setting.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
• Excellent communication, teamwork and a caring, patient attitude.
• Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare.
