About the role
The school in Tower Hamlets is looking for a qualified EYFS Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join its Early Years team. Working in a Nursery or Reception setting, you will support children’s early learning, communication and social development while collaborating closely with the class teacher and EYFS team.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the teacher in delivering the EYFS curriculum and daily lessons.
- Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group interventions to support phonics, early reading and numeracy.
- Help organise classroom resources and set up learning activities.
- Promote positive behaviour, emotional wellbeing and social interaction.
- Work jointly with teachers, support staff and parents to monitor progress.
Required profile
- Level 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification (or equivalent).
- Experience working in an EYFS setting.
- Good understanding of the EYFS framework.
- GCSE English and Maths at grade C/4 or above.
- Legal right to work in the UK.
Required skills
- Knowledge of phonics and early intervention programmes.
- Strong communication and organisational abilities.

- Full‑time contract with a salary of £1,800‑£2,400 per month (£21,600‑£28,800 per year).
