EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant – Full Time

About the role
We are looking for a caring and proactive EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant to join an inclusive primary school in Islington. The role supports young children with special educational needs during the crucial early years of their development, including pupils with physical disabilities.
Key responsibilities
- Provide one‑to‑one support for children with physical needs, ASD, and developmental delays.
- Assist with mobility, personal care, and access to learning activities.
- Promote early communication, social interaction, and sensory development.
- Collaborate closely with class teachers, SENCOs, therapists and external professionals.
- Help maintain a safe, nurturing and engaging learning environment.
Required profile
- Passionate about early years education and inclusive practice.
- Experience or strong interest in supporting children with physical needs or disabilities.
- Patient, nurturing and attentive to individual needs.
- Willingness to work full‑time in Islington and commit for the academic year.
